History
Toscana Pallets is located in Bientina (Pisa), in the heart of Tuscany, in a place marked by the presence of small businesses and industries operating in various sectors.
The Company was founded in 1968.
The intuition of the importance of the pallets for transportation of goods, the foresight and the continuous improvement of the business stimulus exercised by the founder, Franco Vierucci, allowed Toscana Pallets, initially started as a craft business, to develop during years, reaping the benefits associated with the development of packaging techniques and the global development of the use of pallets.
The validity of the first “idea” and the flexibility of the company, which over the years has always adapted to the growing and changing needs of the market, have meant that Toscana Pallets became the national leader in the industry.
The market share has become increasingly important, year after year.
From 1985 until now the annual increase has averaged 10% in 2014 and Toscana Pallets has a turnover of about 40 million, employing more than 100 permanent employees, to which are added as many operators industries.
Toscana Pallets is equipped with 7 production lines technologically advanced and extremely versatile, so as to allow the continuous production and simultaneous both standard pallet, both of standard pallets, according to customer design.
Toscana Pallets is always looking for new markets to increase the availability and cost of pallet products. The development of the Company has been possible thanks to increased sources of supply of raw materials, which have been developed in various European countries and beyond, and leading to PEFC certification of the origin of wood used from January 2011.
The current potential, the availability of large stocks of raw material, quality, on time delivery, allow Toscana Pallets to count among its customers all major Italian and multinational companies, with which it collaborates continuously for many years.
The prospect of Toscana Pallets for the coming years, in view of the development of the market for standard pallets, is growing again optimizing the technical means at its disposal, with the investments already made and those planned for the coming years.
